The "Medicine of the Crab" piece was created during Cancer season, inspired by the versatile spirit of the crab. The crab teaches us how to sidestep obstacles and offers protective energy when we feel vulnerable. This piece encourages introspection, making it a perfect companion during life transitions. It serves as a supportive tool to help you find the right approach in challenging times.
Do you realize how miraculous it is that you are here? That your soul chose the exact day you were born, the exact time, just to create the perfect life for you to learn. To honour the solar energies coming in, I created a sun-like dream catcher as a reminder of the healing light we all carry within us. Yellow, gold, and solar energy is associated with the solar plexus calling us to shine!
This piece was made keeping Rose in mind. The rose is associated with inner trust, self love, and compassion. We are currently entering a new age, embracing a new way of life. This dream catcher is a reminder to live from the heart with gentle compassion. Rose supports the heart chakra, tending to the emotions.
The salmon swims upstream, through all obstacles, following it's intuition home. Water is representative of our emotional state. The lessons learned from salmon are to follow our intuition and navigate the emotional waters of life, gaining wisdom and insight along the way. This dreamcatcher was created as a reminder to trust out inner knowing and go with the flow, trusting the lessons that are meant for us.
This is the second piece I have made working with Crab Medicine. The crab teaches us how to sidestep obstacles and offers protective energy when we feel vulnerable. This piece encourages introspection, making it a perfect companion during life transitions. It serves as a supportive tool to help you find the right approach in challenging times.
This dreamcatcher is dedicated to the dark feminine archetype, the Witch. This dreamcatcher was created in October, a month when the days are getting shorter, nights getting longer, and when we tend to recluse into our shadows. This is a good time to honor and reflect on the aspects of our personalities that we keep in the shadows. In reality, most witches were healers, intuitives, and medicine women. This archetype is now representative of reclaiming personal power and independent feminine energies.
The Alchemist turns the dark into light. The pain into lessons. The heartbreak into art. This dreamcatcher was made calling on the spirit of the Vulture. The vulture is natures ultimate alchemist, recycling death and decay into nutrients. The vulture reminds us that despite what you may be encountering in life, there are lessons to be learned from the experiences although they may not be apparent right now. Go deep into the lessons. Sit with it and turn it into something beautiful.
The deer is a gentle and kind guide, reminding us to be kind with ourselves and gentle with life’s adversities. The deer teaches us to walk our path with grace and determination.
Bees are associated with productivity and creativity. Bees are said to be the communicators between worlds and often assist in communication between the physical and spiritual world. Because of this, the Bee often represents communication and harmony. The Bee will help you be productive and bring your creative endeavours from the dream time into the physical world.
Crows are often seen as messengers between worlds and protectors of sacred law. Crows are often known as the gateway to the supernatural or spiritual worlds, and since crow is the keeper of sacred law, has the ability to shape shift and is known as the master of illusion. Because of this, crows are often associated with death, however, the actually represent spiritual shifts into other realms.
